Installation Process of Hompath Classic 8.0
|
|
CD of Hompath Classic 8.0 is used to install the modules such as Classic, Archives, HomUtil and Patient Management System along with the Key [Hardware lock-key for software protection] for the complete installation of this software.
|
|
Note : Before Starting your installation process, Make Sure that Your Hardware Lock key is connected to the parallel printer port / USB port of your computer.
|
|
The installation is simple and you will not need any expert help if you follow the quick and easy steps mentioned below, carefully.
|
Step-1 : Place the Hompath Classic 8.0 CD in the CD-ROM Drive.
Step-2 : Double click on the "My Computer" icon from the desktop.
Now Double click on the CD-Drive where you have placed the CD to install, i.e. "Classic_M_USB (F)"

|
Step-3 : To Install the Software, now Double-click on the "Setup.exe" icon as shown here:
|
|
|
Step-4 : The program will now guide you step-by-step through the installation procedure. The Software will start getting installed and the following Welcome Screen will appear:
|
|
|
Step-5 : Now click on the 'Next >' button to go to the next screen as shown below:
|
|
|
Step-6 : Read the User License Agreement and click on 'Yes'.
|
|
Step-7 : The next screen informs you that by default, the Hompath Classic 8.0 software will be installed in C:\Classic8 directory. Now click on 'Next >' button.
You may change this if needed, by specifying your path in the "Choose destination directory" dialog box.
|
|
|
Note : Hompath advises you to allow the default installation without any changes to avoid any confusion.
|
|
Step-8 : After clicking on 'Next >', the software will start getting installed and a status indicator will appear as shown below (this indicates how much percentage of the software has been installed).
|
|
|
Step-9 : Wait till the set-up gets installed 100%. Now click on the 'Next >' button (as shown below) to procedure further with the installation.
|
|
|
Step-10 : Now the following screen will appear. Select the "I accept the license agreement" option. As we select this option, the "Install >" button will be highlighted, click on it.
|
|
|
Step-11 : As you click on the "Install >" button, the following screen will appear. Wait for few seconds till the "Finish" button appears on the screen.
|
|
|
Step-12 : Now click on the "Finish" button.
|
|
|
Step-13 : The following message box will appear, now click on "OK" button.
|
|
|
Step-14 : The following message box will appear, now click on "OK" button.
|
|
|
Step-15 : After the above setup is completed, the DAO setup screen will appear. Kindly read the details and then click on 'Next>'
|
|
|
Step-16 : Now click on the "Next >" button as shown below:
|
|
|
Step-17 : In the displayed screen, by default all the options are selected. Kindly reconfirm the details and click on 'Next >'
|
|
|
Step-18 : The following screen will appear; wait till the percentage bar reaches upto 100%.
|
|
|
Step-19 : Click on the "Finish" button.
|
|
|
Step-20 : The following screen will appear next when the installation will be completed. Now, click on 'Close'.
|
|
|
Step-21 : Now click on the "Finish" button.
|
|
|
This completes the installation procedure of the software.
|
|
Step-22 : When you will click on the "Classic" icon for the first time, the following screen will appear. If this is the first time you are installing Hompath software, click on the "No" button. You will be directly taken to PMS Application.
|
|
Note : If you have not connected the external lock, a message saying 'Hompath Classic 8 Key not found' will appear. Click on 'OK' and connect the hardware lock provided to the parallel printer port / USB Port of your computer.)

|
|
|
Step-23 : Click on "Yes" in this window, if you wish to restore your data from the previous versions 'Classic version 7.0', 'Academic', 'Ozone 2.0', or 'Hompath Explorer'. Choose your folder where the back-up is stored by clicking on 'Browse'.
|
|
|
Step-24 : The following window will appear. Now select the location were you have saved your patdata folder.
|
|
|
Step-25 : After selecting your backup folder, click on "Select" button.
|
|
|
Step-26 : After selecting the location of the folder from where we will restore the data, the screen will appear in such a form. Now click on the "Yes" button.
|
|
|
Step-27 : The following message will appear. Now click on "OK"
|
|
|
Step-28 : This message box shows the location were it has taken the backup of the patient data. Click on "OK". You have successfully taken the backup of your previous patients.
|
|
|
Step-29 : If you have clicked on 'No' in step 22, the 'Default physician' screen is displayed. To run the software, the 'Default physician' form has to be filled first.
|
|
|
Fill in the details in the form and then click on 'Save'.
|
|
(Note: Fields marked with '*' are Compulsory)
|
|
Step-30 : Next you will be presented with the password window as shown below.
|
|
In case you are the sole user of the software, you can choose not to assign a password. In such a situation, simply click on 'No'. If you wish to set a password to access this software, click on yes.
|
|
|
|
|
(Note: Hompath advises you to enter a password for the physician ID, for security purposes especially in cases of multiple users.)
|
|
Step-31 : The PMS screen will appear next. Close the screen if not required. To launch the Classic feature, click on the 'Classic ' icon on the desktop, or choose Hompath Classic 8.0 from the program manager.
